Site Inspection And Site Meeting for Integrated Bulk Storage Market
On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the Employers of the project, “Construction of an Integrated Bulk Storage Market at Mankessim (Ansaadze)” the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly moved to the construction site to inspect the progress of work done so far since the Handing over of site and the Sod cutting ceremony.
The site was handed over to the contractors on November 01, 2023 and the Sod-Cutting Ceremony was held at the Ansah Lorry Park in Mankessim, on November 12, 2023.
During the inspection, it was noted that the contractor responsible for the “Construction of Two (2) Storey, Thirty-Six (36) Number Lockable Stores,” Kontraata Limited, was performing exceedingly well and was within schedule. However, Evedors Company Limited, the contractor working on the “External Construction Works at the Integrated Bulk Market at Mankessim (Site Preparation and Clearance, Access Road, Box Culvert, U Drain, Electrical Installation, and External Water Supply and Distribution),” was way behind schedule.
During the site meeting, Evedoor Company Limited mentioned his challenges with delaying the projects. The consultant, KE & T Consult, promised to collaborate more with Evedoor Company Limited to resolve all the outstanding issues so they could also progress steadily with their part of the project.

This is an encouraging update on the progress at the Mankessim Integrated Bulk Storage Market project. It’s great to see Kontraata Limited making steady progress and staying on schedule—it shows the importance of accountability and commitment in public infrastructure development. As a government employee working closely with digital service platforms like gogepayslipgh.com under the Digital Ghana initiative, I’ve seen how timely execution of projects can transform communities. I hope Evedors Company Limited overcomes its current challenges soon so the entire market project can move forward smoothly and benefit the people of Mfantseman. Looking forward to more updates!
I passed by this project site and the pace of the work seems great.
Kudos to the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly Office.
