The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly today held its maiden stakeholders’ engagement on the Government’s flagship 24-Hour Economy Market Project at Mankessim.
The engagement, which took place at the Freeman Methodist Church, Mankessim, brought together leaders of the Traders’ Association, Transport Unions, Zonal Council Members, Hon. Assembly Members, members of the Media, and other key stakeholders whose contributions are vital to the successful implementation of the project.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, addressed participants on the objectives and expected benefits of the project and called for their support and cooperation to ensure its successful implementation. Stakeholders were also given the opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and make constructive suggestions aimed at enhancing the effective rollout of the project.
The engagement formed part of the Assembly’s commitment to promoting stakeholder participation and ensuring that key development initiatives are implemented through consultation, collaboration, and consensus-building.
