The Information Services Department conducted a public education campaign on the Single Window Citizen Engagement Service (SWCES) beginning Friday, 3rd October 2025 in the Mfantseman Municipality. The objective was to create awareness on the Helpline of Hope and educate the public on how to report social welfare issues such as domestic violence, child abuse, trafficking, and forced marriage.
The team visited 94 communities, including churches, mosques, schools, community information centres, and two radio stations. Sensitization was carried out in Fante, Twi, and English to ensure broad understanding.
Community members expressed appreciation for the initiative and demonstrated improved understanding of how to report abuse cases and seek support.
The campaign was largely successful in raising awareness and strengthening public confidence in the SWCES platform.
