On Thursday, 19th February 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Mfantseman, Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah, continued his tour of health facilities within the municipality with visits to the Saltpond Municipal Hospital the Ankaful, Hinii, and Kuntu CHPS
Compounds.
The purpose of the visit was to obtain first-hand information on the challenges faced by health professionals in the effective discharge of their duties across the
municipality. Through direct engagement with staff and inspection of the
facilities, the MCE, Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah gained valuable insight into
operational needs and areas requiring urgent attention.
Addressing the health workers, the MCE, Hon. Eric Stanley Acquah commended them for their commitment to providing essential healthcare services to residents despite existing
constraints. He further assured them that the issues raised during the visit
would receive the needed attention through engagement with the appropriate
authorities and stakeholders to improve working conditions and service delivery
within the Mfantseman Municipality.
