On February 20, 2026, the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly received five (5) skip containers as part of ongoing efforts to improve sanitation across the Municipality. The containers were procured under the sanitation allocation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) to support effective waste management and promote environmental cleanliness.
The provision of the skip containers forms part of the Assembly’s broader strategy to enhance waste management, protect public health, and maintain a cleaner environment for residents. Assembly management and staff will oversee the proper deployment and maintenance of the containers to ensure their effective use throughout the Municipality.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment by the Assembly, municipal management, and community stakeholders to sustain a clean and healthy environment, improve sanitation standards, and safeguard the well-being of residents.
