The mfantseman municipal assembly on Friday 4th September 2026, held a special meeting of the assembly to elect the presiding member (PM) for the assembly.
Hon Abraham Eshun an assembly member for kyeakor electoral area was the only member nominated for the position.
At the end of the election a total of 51 votes were cast, out of which hon Abraham Eshun secured 49 votes representing 90.74%. however two members voted against the nominee representing 3.703%.
Hon Abraham Eshun was accordingly elected and sworn in as the presiding member of the mfantseman municipal assembly.
