The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly on July 9th and 10th 2020, organised an emergency meeting and orientation session for all Honourable Assembly Members within the Municipality, both the Elected members as well as the Government Appointees.
The emergency meeting sought to appoint some of the Assembly members for positions within the various sub-committees functional at the Administrative office of the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly.
All Honourable assembly members were oriented on the:
- Local Governance Act, ACT 936
- Model Standing Order
- Responsibilities of Honourable Assembly members towards both the Administration of the Assembly as well as towards their Electoral areas and by extension the Municipality as a whole.
