Green Ghana Tree Planting

The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly has actively participated in the Green Ghana initiative by planting trees across the municipality to promote environmental sustainability. The Municipal Chief Executive (hon. Ike Lord Enuu), leading community members, schools, and stakeholders in planting trees at selected locations.
Speaking at the event, the MCE emphasized the importance of afforestation in combating climate change and preserving the environment. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to a greener and healthier future for generations to come,” the MCE stated.
The Municipal Agric Department provided technical support, ensuring proper planting and maintenance of the trees. Residents were urged to nurture the seedlings to ensure their survival.
The Green Ghana initiative continues to gain momentum in Mfantseman, reinforcing the Assembly’s dedication to environmental conservation.
